Daily Bible Nugget #18, Acts 4:12
The Nugget:
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
My Comment:
In the news today a very significant religious leader asserted in a letter to an atheist leader that atheists can go to heaven too if they obey their conscience, even if they do not believe in God. The Bible very clearly declares otherwise. The Bible commands us to "prove all things; hold fast to what is true" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). The Bible also says "If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" (Isaiah 8:20). Salvation is only through believing in Jesus Christ, "the only name given among men, whereby we must be saved." Jesus himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). The Bible says it. I believe it. That settles it!
