Daily Bible Nugget #159, 2 Peter 1:19
The Nugget:
2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
My Comment:
The Scriptures are an unerring guide. They contain a more sure word of prophecy. The certainty of the accuracy of Bible prophecy Peter declared was greater than even his eye-witness testimony. Peter said we do well to take heed to the message of the Bible. The Bible is a light that shines in a dark place. If we want to help dispel the darkness, get out the message contained in the Bible. Of course, to do that, you must take the time to read and study the Bible for yourself so you will be able to share what you have learned.
